What To Expect
Popponesset Bay
The Cape Cod Explorer tour operates within Popponesset Bay, Popponesset River, and Mashpee River. It is a beautiful route that has so many natural highlights including the Popponesset Spit. It is fed from Nantucket sound. Since it is contained in the bay the water is consistently flat and perfect for all levels. There is a amazing amount of bird activity, wildlife, and overall nature to view throughout our tour. This area consists of salt water, brackish water, and fresh water so the variation of plant and wildlife is astounding!

Popponesset Peninsula
A beautiful white sand barrier beach that is only accessible with a boat, kayak, or board. This is a protected area and we consider ourselves ambassadors of our environment and it is everyone’s job to protect it.
